The mission of the Clear Creek Elementary School PTO is to support the growth and educational achievement of the children, parents and faculty of the Clear Creek School.

Meeting Dates  The general PTO meetings are scheduled for the first Monday of every month at 6:30 pm. All meeting dates and times will be posted and any changes to the regular meeting times will be highlighted in the Important Dates Table.
Meeting Minutes  The PTO meeting minutes will be posted for each meeting. Follow the link in the menu for the dates you wish to view.
Treasure's Report  The treasure's report for each month will be posted. Follow the link in the menu for the month you wish to view.
PTO Forms and Instructions  Follow the link in the menu to access the PTO forms. Also posted are the instructions for each form and the appropriate use of each form. There are also links to sample forms that are filled out for your reference.

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities at Clear Creek. Following is a list of the various fundraisers, descriptions, dates and points of contact. There are so many ways to help out, including volunteering your time and donating items. Please browse through the events and if you would like to volunteer, or just have questions concerning the fundraiser, please contact the person listed by telephone or by their e-mail link.

Box Tops for Education Clip and save box tops from general Mills products marked Boxtops for Education. The drop off box is on the table next to the office.  
Carnival This is the PTO's biggest fundraiser and is held every spring. This year it is being held on May 14, 2010. We need volunteers to contact businesses for donations, classroom representatives to organize a team of volunteers from their classroom to help during the carnival (booths, ticket sales, concessions, prize table), and volunteers for set-up and take down. Kroger Cares Program
  • Simply purchase a Kroger gift card and the Clear Creek PTO will receive 3% profit on your purchase. These gift cards can be used for all items that are sold at Kroger, including prescriptions, cosmetics, food, gas and paper products.

  • Once you use all of the money on the card, all you need to do is add more money to your Kroger Cares gift card at any Kroger store. Just by doing your grocery shopping, you are helping us with our fundraising efforts for computers, literacy and playground equipment.

  • You may purchase Kroger Gift Cards in any amount between $5 and $500. When purchasing Kroger gift cards please make your checks payable to Clear Creek Elementary School PTO.

Market Day
  • Purchase food from Market Day and 10% of the profit goes to the Clear Creek Elementary School PTO.
  • Taste the difference of Market Day foods. Because Market Day buys direct from the same vendors that sell to the finest restaurants, you'll find that their quality, convenience, value and outstanding taste will have you coming back for more.
  • Items may be ordered by turning in the Market Day order sheet sent home with your child on the date specified or you can order items online.
  • Volunteer to help with Market Day - 1 day per month for about 2 hours each.

Open House This event is at the beginning of each school year. Families are encouraged to attend and check out the school. Volunteers are needed to hand out information, setup and take down. Gena Carney

Paragon This is one of the school's biggest fundraisers. Booklets and order forms will be sent home with your child. This fundraiser is at the beginning of the school year. Gena Carney

Santa's Secret Shop
  • Santa's Secret Shop is a program that allows children to purchase their own special holiday gift for family and friends. They will have fun surprising a loved one with a "secret" gift they bought all by themselves. Gifts range in price from $0.25 to $15.00. All gifts purchased will be taken home immediately and individual gift bags are provided at no extra charge.
  • There are a wide variety of gifts to choose from, including: candles, jewelry, key rings, plaques, coffee mugs, toys and stuffed animals.
  • An adult volunteer will guide each child through Santa's Secret Shop.
  • The shop will be open from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.

  • The PTO needs people to help set-up, decorate, and inventory items the evening before starting at 6:30 pm. We also need people to lead children through the shop, help with the breakfast, inventory afterwards, and clean-up. If you are able to participate in any way, please contact Shari Prince. Just 1-2 hours of your time would be greatly appreciated.

Skate Night Skate Night is offered the 3rd Thursday of each month at Western Skateland (930 W. 17th Street). It is from 6:30 to 8:30 pm and the cost is $4.00. If at least 75 people are in attendance, then the PTO receives $1.25 per person back. Parents must accompany their children. No drop offs! Kim Foust
Staff Appreciation Committee Staff Appreciation events - luncheons, teacher appreciation week. You can help by donating desserts for the luncheons. TBD

Target Designate Clear Creek on your take charge of eduacation account and our school will recieve cash back from your purchases.
